YEAST EXTRACT POWDER-Medium:  The common name for various forms of processed yeast products made by extracting the cell contents. It is prepared from yeast cells by retaining all nutritive factors (amino acids, vitamins), eliminating the cell walls. It is then spray dried until obtain a powder form. This process is done under controlled condition.

It is fine, free flowing, yellow to light brownish spray dried powder. It is a rich source of vitamins B complex, amino acid.
